​Welcome to the new website of Boxcatow Boxers. We are a small, select show kennel situated close to the picturesque town of Rathfriland, set in the backdrop of the stunning Mourne Mountains.​ Our dogs enjoy the countryside lifestyle, along with regular trips to the beach and Tullymore Forest Park. 

My first introduction to dog shows took place in 2002, when  decided to attend a few local shows with my beloved pet boxer Rocky. It wasn't long until i was travelling the length and breadth of Ireland entering dog shows. In 2004 i purchased my first Official Show Dog "Trikane Back Bencher" from the famous Trikane Kennels of Anne Ingram.  Ozzie as we called him, was pick of litter from the last litter of Trikane Boxers and what an amazing boy he was. Ozzie had a great show career winning a total of 34 Green Sars and ending his show career as Celtic Winner 08 and Annual Champion 2008.

As a small show kennel our dogs remain with us for life and we breed occasonally, this allows us more time to devote to each of our boxers. As a general rule i do prefer my boys and currently have 4 boys and 2 girls.

In the past i have served on the committee of the Boxer Society of Ireland and currently hold office on the Irish Boxer Dog Club.

At present i have completed my three Open Show judging appointments and look forward to progressing to my first Championship Show judging appointment in April 2014.
